January 5, 2026- New Late Registration Policy

To all members, parents and Waterloo community,

The WYSO has adopted a new policy regarding late registrations and will be implementing it with our 2026 registrations. Please know that we are trying to make sure we work and function as efficiently as possible to ensure a positive experience. The policy is listed below.

WYSO will open each program for approximately 4-6 weeks. We will advertise through email, Facebook, our website, and through an email from school. After the regular registration period is over, any late registrations will have a $20 late fee for one week. After that time, directors will have discretion in accepting late registrations beyond the deadline on a case by case basis with officer approval only. Exemptions from this rule are the following sports …Wrestling.

5k-2nd Grade

We are in need of coaches! Coaches are essential and if we do not have enough, we will not be able to have a season. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions about coaching to the email below.

Flag Football Kindergarten-2nd grade (2026-2027 school year) in Waterloo is now open. Your coach will contact you after registration closes and we have selected teams. This will likely be mid to late August. Coaches have discretion on practice schedules. Games are on Mondays and Wednesdays starting in September, however you can expect the first game to be on Tuesday after Labor Day (the only Tuesday on the schedule).

Jerseys are provided, however MOUTH GUARDS ARE MANDATORY and provided by parents. Children will not be allowed to participate without a mouth guard. Cleats are highly encouraged.
